Erin Cork lives in Missoula, Montana.
She writes and hikes in the mornings with her two rescue mutts. She works the swing shift as a train dispatcher, drinks a lot of coffee, wears trucker hats and uses foul language.
She writes CNF, Fiction, Hybrid and Poetry. Some straight forward, some out in the weeds. Lots of words about her hometown and state. This is mostly due to the fact that she has moved away then back to it so many times. She is back to stay. She means it. She has been sober for 30 years.
Her work almost always contains music. She has a large eclectic collection of digital downloads, CDs, cassette tapes and vinyl. Okay, she may be an addict. She dreamed of being a songwriter once. She also thought she might play in the WNBA. She is 5'2.
She identifies as queer but believes that this is just a fraction of the whole. She's mostly a puzzle jumble of pieces that almost fit.
Her work has been featured in Hobart, Rejection Letters Lit, Bending Genres, X-R-A-Y Lit, Hypnopomp, Image OutWrite, Memoir Mixtapes, Homology Lit, Pussy Magic, MITA, Bone & Ink Press Springsteen Anthology: Shut Down Strangers and Hot Rod Angels as well as others forthcoming. She was a finalist in the Glimmer Train Short Story Competiton. She is working on another draft of her first novel and a memoir.
